We are working with a team from Thayer School of Engineering who have developed methods for fabricating highly flexible and sensitive piezoelectric pressure sensors. When placed superficial to a near-surface artery, these sensors can detect the pulse wave. We are working to build novel data sets to enable the development of algorithms for the estimation of clinically relevant parameters such as blood pressure.
